Civic Work

The Uncommon Designer is involved in community work.

As part of a design team the Uncommon Designer recently designed and furnished two homes for foster children at Place of Hope in Palm Beach Gardens.

This community was developed and sponsored by Christ Fellowship in Palm Beach Gardens. Thomas Mullins is the pastor and Charles Bender is the director of Place of Hope.

Each cottage houses eight children and two adult supervisors. This is part of a community of cottages projected to provide a home for these children until they are 18 years old.
