Petron is a Professional member of ASID, a state of Florida licensed Interior Designer, NCIDQ certified, and a Member of American Institute of Architects. She has been listed in the International Edition of " Who's Who in Interior Design" since 1985. Her extensive knowledge of design is enhanced by continuing studies of architecture, furniture design, and through the “Continuing Education Council Study Program” of ASID.
Mary Petron, ASID, graduated with honors from the “New York School of Interior Design” with a major in Interior Design and minor in furniture design. Her expertise in planning, careful attention to the client’s desires and over 20 years of professional experience enhances her broad knowledge and ensures comprehensive service. Having a general contractors background to draw on as well as project management skills, Mary knows not only what to expect during the scope of the project but also how to control costs.
As Principal and owner of The Uncommon Designer, Mary Petron is known for her work in high-end residential interiors, restaurants, golf clubs and offices. Mary taps into her creativity to satisfy the interior design needs of her clients.
Her company is best known for working with clients to realize their interior visions, either at home or in the office. All interior work concentrates on function and aesthetic working together, never one sacrificed for the other. Her projects are widely located including work internationally, and nationally, in New Jersey, Arizona, Virginia, New York and closer to home, Florida and Georgia. |
